Cathy has been working in the personnel industry since 1978. She launched C.G. & Company in May 1988 in Odessa, TX specializing in local permanent placements.
By early 1990, Cathy expanded her business to include temporary placements and employee leasing. During this time, she also became active in the Permian Basin Association of Personnel Consultants (PBAPC), serving as its President from 1992 until 1994. She earned her Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) credentials in 1993, which enabled Cathy to become Education Chair of the PBAPC.
In 1994, Cathy expanded the office to include a nationwide recruiting division. She was soon elected President of the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants. Cathy has also served as District IX Director for the National Association of Personnel Services for the past two years. C.G. & Company opened an office in Dallas in 1997, followed by an Austin office in June 2000.
Today, the firm has become a premier full service human resource group. Cathy makes time available for business, social and school groups to present the importance of a proactive career planning, talent acquisition, and the human resource issues that affect organization in today's business climate.
